Title: Insulated concrete forming system

Abstract: A device for interlocking form panels. It contemplates an elongated memberhaving first and second sections that are substantially planar and havefirst and second ends and first and second sides. First and second flangemembers are attached to the ends and diverge from the elongated member. These flange members are also substantially planar, parallel to each otherand protrude perpendicularly out of the plane of the elongated member anequal distance from the first and second sides of the elongated member. Afirst pair of guide rib members is attached to the elongated member at apoint near the first end of the elongated member, is in a parallel planarrelationship with the first diverging flange member, and protrudesperpendicularly from the first side of the elongated member. This firstpair of guide rib members is attached at a point from the first divergingflange member so as to define a distance that is substantially equal tothe thickness of a form panel. A second pair of guide rib members isattached to the elongated member at a point near the second end of theelongated member, is in a parallel planar relationship with the seconddiverging flange member, and protrudes perpendicularly from the secondside of the elongated member. This second pair of guide rib members isattached at a point from the second diverging flange member so as todefine a distance that is substantially equal to the thickness of a formpanel. Frangible bridges for separating the first section of the tie fromthe second section of the tie are perpendicularly situated along thelongitudinal axis of the tie from the first end to the second end.
