Title: Valve, especially for slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems installed inmotor vehicles

Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated valve has a sleeve which receivesmagnetically operative elements, such as an armature and a magnet core.The sleeve is provided with a radially outward-oriented, encompassingwidened portion in the form of a flange having flat wall portions whichextend transversely to the longitudinal axis of the valve and rest on oneanother essentially without an interstice between them. The flange isbraced on a shoulder of a valve block bore and is hydraulically tightlygripped by material positively displaced from the bore circumference. Theflange is the sole securing means for the fluid-carrying part of thevalve, which part comprises the sleeve, armature and magnet core.
