Abstract: A system and method for estimating the position of an object within a volume. The system uses the time difference of arrival of signals at a plurality of receivers to establish the position of an object, using only the substantially multipath free portion of the received signal for analysis purposes. A prior model of the object and/or volume is used to assist the location determination process.
