Abstract: The present invention provides a volume control program, a volume control method, and a video game machine by which the player can easily hear two sounds which are output simultaneously. Cheering sound is output from the speaker 23 according to the game progress status, the output instructing section 102 instructs output so as to output the sound data of broadcasting sound which is read from the broadcasting sound data storing section 512 by the sound data reading section 101 according to the game progress status as sound, and the volume controlling section 111 drops the volume of the cheering sound to be lower than the volume of the broadcasting sound with the output instruction as a trigger.
